Two-time Car of the Year award winner — the compact SUV that transformed Peugeot's fortunes in the crossover era.

History
First presented in 2008 and launched in April 2009, the original Peugeot 3008 occupied an unusual crossover-MPV position but found a sizable market. A second generation, announced in May 2016 and on sale from January 2017, was a far more decisive SUV and earned the European Car of the Year award for 2017 — the first SUV to win the prize since the award's creation in 1964.
A third generation, based on Stellantis' STLA Medium platform, was revealed in September 2023 and went on sale in early 2024, including a fully electric E-3008 variant with a fastback SUV-coupe silhouette. The 3008 is Peugeot's most globally successful model of the modern era.
