History

Unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, the Peugeot 2008 was the brand's first entry-level crossover, sitting below the 3008 and drawing buyers migrating from the 207/208 supermini class who wanted extra ride height and versatility.

A second generation arrived in 2019 on a new platform, adding the e-2008 battery-electric variant (with a 136 hp motor and up to 406 km of WLTP range from the facelifted version) and adopting Peugeot's new i-Cockpit interior architecture with a small-diameter steering wheel and head-up display.
