The Pulsar (sold early as the Datsun Pulsar NX) was a small, sporty front-drive compact in the 1980s.

The US Pulsar NX was notable for its optional 'Sportbak' removable roof and rear cargo module; the nameplate evolved into the NX coupe for the 1990s.
