History

Sold in the US for 1989–1998, the 240SX was the American version of Nissan's S-platform rear-drive sport compact, related to the JDM Silvia and 180SX, across the S13 (1989–1994) and S14 (1995–1998) chassis.

Lightweight, rear-drive, and easily modified, the 240SX became a cornerstone of the drifting scene. (US cars used the KA24 four-cylinder rather than the JDM SR20DET.)
