History

The Pathfinder launched for 1986 (early on as a body-on-frame 4x4 related to the Hardbody pickup) and became one of the 1990s SUV boom's mainstays.

It shifted to a unibody, three-row family crossover for 2013, before a 2022 redesign brought back more rugged styling.
