Morgan Plus Six History
History
The Plus Six, launched in 2019, introduced Morgan's all-new CX-Generation bonded-aluminium platform, said to roughly double torsional stiffness over the older Aero structure while keeping a wooden body frame above it. It was the first factory-turbocharged Morgan, powered by BMW's 3.0-litre B58 turbo straight-six of around 335 hp.
The Plus Six combined genuinely modern performance and refinement with Morgan's traditional sweeping-wing silhouette, signalling the transition of the whole traditional range onto the CX platform. It was replaced in 2025 by the Morgan Supersport, built on the further-evolved CXV platform.
