Lynk & Co 08 History

Unveiled on March 25, 2023 and entering production in August 2023, the 08 is Lynk & Co's mid-size crossover built on the CMA Evo platform — a development of the CMA architecture shared with Volvo. Its positioning and dimensions (4,820 mm long) place it in the D-segment above the 01.

The 08's plug-in hybrid system pairs a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine with two or three electric motors for a combined output of up to 456 kW (611 hp), with 28.3 or 38.2 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery options providing up to 185 km of CLTC pure-electric range and a combined range of approximately 1,400 km. The 0–100 km/h sprint takes 4.6 seconds.
