History
The 03 went on sale in China in October 2018 as a C-segment four-door sedan on the CMA platform, offered in turbocharged petrol, plug-in hybrid, and a performance '03+' variant launched in June 2019 with 265 hp and all-wheel drive.
The 03's greatest recognition came in motorsport. Cyan Racing — the Swedish performance house with deep Volvo and Geely ties — prepared TCR-specification 03 race cars for the FIA WTCR (World Touring Car Cup). The 03 TCR won the WTCR Teams' Championship in 2019 (the first world title for a Chinese brand), and Yann Ehrlacher claimed the Drivers' Championship in 2020 and defended it in 2021, giving Lynk & Co three consecutive world titles. Cyan Racing accumulated eight world titles with the 03 TCR through 2023.
Annual sales peaked at 76,461 units in 2021. A succession of facelifts and '03+ Champion Edition' special models kept the nameplate fresh, with a limited 03+ TCR Cyan run of 30 road cars per month launched in October 2023 as a direct homage to the race car.
