History
The LD10 was Lanchester's post-war model, built from 1946 to 1951 around a 1,287 cc four-cylinder overhead-valve engine. Early cars carried pressed-steel saloon bodies by Briggs; after Briggs was bought by Ford, later LD10s used aluminium-panelled bodywork by Barker.
Around 3,030 were built. Modest but well-finished, the LD10 kept the Lanchester name alive into the 1950s before the larger Fourteen/Leda took over.
