History
The Fourteen, introduced for 1950–1951, used a 1,968 cc four-cylinder overhead-valve engine; the export-market version of the car was sold as the Leda. It was a conventional, comfortable post-war saloon built alongside the equivalent small Daimlers.
About 2,100 were made. It was one of the final Lanchester models: a prototype small car, the Sprite, was developed in the mid-1950s but never reached real production, and Lanchester ceased as a marque in 1955.
