Kia Telluride History
History
Launched for the 2020 model year and assembled in West Point, Georgia, the Telluride is Kia's largest and most upscale SUV — a three-row, eight-passenger crossover that took aim at the Ford Explorer and Toyota Highlander at a lower price.
It won the 2020 World Car of the Year and numerous other awards, becoming a cultural phenomenon and the model most responsible for elevating Kia's brand perception in the United States.
