History

By the mid-1920s Jordan had moved upmarket with eight-cylinder cars — the Line Eight and the more luxurious Great Line Eight — adopting the straight-eight engines then fashionable among prestige American makes. These were the cars Jordan hoped would carry the marque into the luxury field, again sold heavily on appearance and advertising rather than technical novelty.
