History
The XF replaced the S-Type in 2007–2008 as the first Jaguar saloon of the modern era to abandon retro styling, introducing the clean, contemporary design language that reshaped the brand. It was widely acclaimed and won numerous awards.
A second generation arrived in 2015 with lightweight aluminium-intensive construction, and an XF Sportbrake estate was offered. Supercharged XFR and XFR-S models provided the performance flagships. The XF was discontinued in 2024 as Jaguar wound down its combustion range.
