History

The production I-Pace was revealed in March 2018 as Jaguar's first all-electric vehicle — a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive crossover with a skateboard battery layout. It launched ahead of most established luxury rivals' EVs and was widely praised, named 2019 World Car of the Year (among other awards).

Built in Graz, Austria, the I-Pace previewed Jaguar's electric future but production ended in December 2024 as the brand prepared a clean-sheet, all-electric reinvention.
