Isuzu Stylus History

The Stylus arrived for 1991 as the successor to the I-Mark in Isuzu's US lineup, based on the third-generation Isuzu Gemini. It was offered as a conventional front-drive sedan in base S and sportier XS and RS trims, with a DOHC 1.6-liter engine on the upper models.

Sales were modest and the Stylus was discontinued after the 1993 model year as Isuzu shifted its US focus almost entirely to the Rodeo and Trooper SUVs. It shares its production run with the concurrent Impulse — together they represented Isuzu's fading US car ambitions.
