Isuzu Axiom History
History
Introduced for the 2002 model year, the Axiom was Isuzu's attempt at a more stylish, crossover-flavored SUV — lower and sleeker than the Trooper, riding on the same platform as the Rodeo with a 3.5-liter V6. It aimed at buyers looking for city-friendly proportions with some trail capability.
The Axiom sold in modest numbers and was discontinued after the 2004 model year alongside the Rodeo as Isuzu's US lineup shrank to GM-rebadged vehicles only.
