History

The Regent was Innocenti's last attempt at a conventional family saloon, based on the British Leyland Austin Allegro platform and sold during 1974 and 1975. It was a minor market presence and quickly discontinued as BL restructured and Innocenti's future became tied to the Mini-derived hatchbacks.
