History

The Veloster launched for 2012 with a distinctive asymmetric layout — one door on the driver's side and two on the passenger side — as a youthful, sporty hatch-coupe.

Its defining moment came with the second generation's Veloster N (2019), Hyundai's first true 'N' performance car, which earned wide praise as a giant-killing hot hatch before the Veloster was discontinued after 2022.
