The 1970 model year
Overview
The 1970 Bronco continued as regular and Sport versions of the Wagon and Pickup, with the Roadster absent from Ford's factory brochure. The standard 170-cubic-inch six and optional 302-cubic-inch V8 both used the synchronized three-speed manual and two-speed transfer case.

What changed
- Ford retained the four regular/Sport Wagon and Pickup models without reviving the Roadster.
- The factory table rates the standard 170 six at 105 gross horsepower and the optional 302 V8 at 205 gross horsepower.
- The synchronized three-speed manual remained the only transmission listed.
