Denza N7 History

Introduced in March 2023 and officially launched in the Chinese market in July 2023, the Denza N7 is a mid-size SUV coupe targeting the premium electric segment occupied by cars such as the BMW iX3 and NIO ES6. It is underpinned by BYD's e-Platform 3.0 and features what Denza described at launch as the world's first mass-produced eight-in-one integrated electric powertrain, combining the motor, reducer, on-board charger, and other units into a single assembly.

The N7 measures 4.86 metres long on a 2.94-metre wheelbase and accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds in its top specification, with a maximum power output of 230 kW. In 2024 the model received a mid-cycle facelift updating the headlight and DRL design to align it visually with the Z9 family. The N7 represents Denza's entry point into the high-performance EV crossover market and is one of the brand's primary models in its early international-market rollout.
