Daewoo Magnus History

Presented in 1999 and going on sale in 2000, the Magnus (V200) was Daewoo's development of the mid-size segment beyond the Leganza — a larger, more refined Korean executive sedan. It was sold primarily in South Korea and a handful of export markets.

In 2006, the Magnus received an extensive facelift that effectively created a new model, designated the V250 and marketed as the Daewoo Tosca in Korea. The Tosca/Magnus line — sold globally as the Chevrolet Epica and Holden Epica — continued in production until the Daewoo brand was retired in 2011.
