History

Czinger revealed the Hyper GT alongside the 21C V Max at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, in August 2022. Where the 21C's tandem cockpit and downforce-first aerodynamics make it a committed track weapon, the Hyper GT widens the brief to four-seat grand touring: a two-door, four-passenger coupe with large gullwing doors for ease of entry and a classic long-bonnet silhouette. Under that bonnet sits a front-mounted variant of the same 1,233 hp twin-turbocharged 2.88-litre hybrid V8 used in the 21C.

In early 2024 Kevin Czinger confirmed the Hyper GT would enter production, describing a target of approximately 1,000 units — a substantially larger run than the 21C's 80 — at a price between $750,000 and $1 million. Like the 21C, it will be manufactured using Divergent's additive-manufacturing platform in Los Angeles. A precise production-start date had not been announced publicly as of mid-2025.
