While BSA's three-wheeler and later Scout grabbed the headlines with front-wheel drive, the company also offered a more conventional rear-wheel-drive saloon from 1932. The Ten Saloon used a 1,185 cc four-cylinder side-valve engine and a 97.5-inch wheelbase, pitching it firmly at the volume small-car market.
A Light Six saloon joined the range in 1934, fitting a 1,378 cc six-cylinder engine in the same basic body. Both conventional models were discontinued after 1936 as BSA concentrated its car effort on the front-drive Scout.
