Aston Martin Rapide History
History
Launched in 2010 from a 2006 concept, the Rapide was Aston Martin's four-door grand tourer — a stretched, VH-platform car keeping the marque's signature grille and a 5.9/6.0-litre V12, but adding usable rear doors and seats. The more powerful Rapide S followed in 2013.
Toward the end of its run, Aston Martin used the Rapide as the basis of its first all-electric production car, the limited Rapide E (2019). Rapide production ended in 2020.
