History
Launched in 2014, the AF8 was Arash's attempt to offer a road-going supercar below the stratospheric price point of the AF10 flagship. It is powered by a mid-mounted 7.0-litre GM LS7 V8 engine producing a stated 550 hp and 472 lb-ft of torque, enough for a claimed 0–60 mph time of around 3.5 seconds and a top speed approaching 200 mph.
The body is hand-laid carbon fibre over an aluminium spaceframe chassis, built in tiny numbers at the company's Newmarket workshop. The AF8 has been described as the spiritual successor to the original Farboud GTS concept — a driver-focused mid-engine machine without the complexity of the AF10 hybrid — and represents the core of what Arash offers to customers who want an analogue, high-horsepower British supercar.
Options included an open-top roadster configuration alongside the standard coupe body. Production numbers remain extremely limited by design, with the company's stated output of fewer than three cars per year covering both the AF8 and AF10 combined.
