Arash AF10 History

The AF10 was first shown as a concept in 2009, featuring a mid-mounted 7.0-litre Chevrolet-sourced V8 producing around 500 bhp. The body was a dramatic low-slung design that previewed a serious road car without the resources to bring it quickly to market.

At the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, Arash revealed a comprehensively re-engineered AF10 with an entirely different powertrain: a 6.2-litre supercharged V8 producing approximately 550 bhp combined with four electric motors — one per wheel — for a manufacturer-claimed total system output of 2,080 hp. The hybrid system draws on lessons from motorsport energy recovery and allows pure electric driving at low speeds.

Production was announced as limited to a small number of hand-built examples, consistent with the company's history of producing fewer than three cars per year. Arash has never disclosed a per-model delivery figure for the AF10; the company's cumulative sales across all models are reported at fewer than 80 cars since 1999. As of 2024, the AF10 remains the company's headline model, with deliveries dependent on customer orders and workshop capacity.
