Aixam Crossline History

The Crossline debuted at the 2006 Mondial de l'Automobile in Paris, based on the long-wheelbase A741 platform extended with a larger rear overhang to reach 3.05 m in length — making it the biggest vehicle in the Aixam lineup. Its raised stance and SUV-inspired body cladding gave quadricycle buyers a crossover aesthetic at a time when that silhouette was booming in mainstream cars.

A second-generation Crossline launched in 2010 with rounded, more contemporary curves. A further redesign followed in 2013 alongside a wider range refresh, with Crossline EVO and Crossline Premium trim levels. The Sensation range of 2016 introduced a Crossline Pack, while the Emotion range of 2020 continued the nameplate. An electric e-Crossover variant joined the lineup, reflecting Aixam's growing electrification push.

The Crossline's longevity — nearly two decades in production — makes it one of the most enduring model names in the Aixam portfolio and the brand's flagship for buyers wanting maximum interior space within the quadricycle category.
