Aixam Coupé History

Unveiled in 2012, the Aixam Coupé brought a longer, more rakish silhouette to the quadricycle segment. At 2,995 mm long with a 2,000 mm wheelbase it was one of the most generously proportioned Aixam bodies, yet it retained the brand's 45 km/h governed Kubota diesel (approximately 400 cc, 4 kW). Three trim levels — Coupé S, Coupé Premium, and Coupé GTI — catered to buyers who prioritised interior comfort and exterior design over utility.

A fuel consumption of around 2.96 litres/100 km made the Coupé economical despite its larger body. The 500-litre boot — notable for a quadricycle — added practicality. An electric e-Coupé GTI joined the range as part of Aixam's electrification strategy, and the nameplate was carried forward through the Sensation (2016) and Emotion (2020) range updates, remaining in production as of 2026.
