Venturi Venturi America History

Unveiled in 2012, the Venturi America is a four-wheel-drive electric crossover designed for extreme terrain. The original launch version produced around 300 horsepower, but a substantially more powerful variant debuted at the 2014 Paris Motor Show with approximately 407 horsepower and production scheduled to begin in 2015.

Series production never materialised, however: in 2015 Venturi abandoned plans to build the America in numbers and it remained a prototype. Intended for endurance adventure use rather than ordinary roads, the America underscored the new Venturi's position as a technology showcase rather than a volume manufacturer.
