History

Launched for 2001 on the Tundra platform, the Sequoia is Toyota's full-size, body-on-frame, three-row SUV.

The second generation ran an exceptionally long 2008–2022; the third generation (2023) adopted the Tundra's twin-turbo i-FORCE MAX hybrid V6.

Generations

First generation · XK30/XK40 (2001–2007)

The original full-size Toyota SUV, on the first Tundra platform.
Second generation · XK60 (2008–2022)

Very long-running second generation with a V8.
Third generation · XK80 (2023–present)

Adopted the Tundra's twin-turbo i-FORCE MAX hybrid V6.
