History

The Matrix (2003–2013) was a tall, versatile Corolla-based five-door, developed with GM and sold as the near-identical Pontiac Vibe.

Early cars offered a high-revving XRS with the 180-hp 2ZZ-GE engine before the line was discontinued in the US after 2013.
