Toyota GR86 / 86 (Scion FR-S) History
History
Co-developed with Subaru (which sells the near-identical BRZ), this lightweight, rear-wheel-drive boxer-four coupe launched in the US for 2013 as the Scion FR-S.
When the Scion brand was retired it became the Toyota 86 for 2017, and the second-generation car (2022) is sold as the Toyota GR86 under the Gazoo Racing performance sub-brand.
