Toyota bZ4X History
History
The bZ4X (the name stands for 'beyond Zero') is Toyota's first dedicated battery-electric vehicle, a compact electric SUV launched globally in 2022 and in the US as a 2023 model.
It was co-developed with Subaru, which sells the near-identical Solterra. The bZ4X reached US dealerships in spring 2023 as a 2023 model.
