Talbot Express History

The Talbot Express was produced at the Sevel Val di Sangro plant in Atessa, central Italy — a PSA/Fiat joint venture that simultaneously built the Fiat Ducato, Peugeot J5, and Citroën C25. Sold exclusively in the United Kingdom under the Talbot badge, it was available as a panel van, minibus, and chassis cab.

Popular with UK motorhome and campervan converters, the Express received a Series 2 update in 1991 with a revised enlarged grille. Production ended in 1994 when PSA retired the Talbot marque entirely — making the Express the final Talbot-badged vehicle ever built, outliving the passenger-car range by nearly a decade.
