History

Launched in October 1967, the Sunbeam Stiletto mated the fastback coupé bodyshell of the Hillman Imp Californian to the twin-carburettor tuned engine of the Sunbeam Imp Sport, adding a four-headlamp front, a vinyl roof option, and an upgraded interior. It was the most desirable and visually distinctive car in the Imp family.

The Stiletto sold modestly and was discontinued in 1972, five years before the Imp range itself ended. It shares its approximately 10,000-unit combined production figure with the Imp Sport, reflecting modest but committed sales volumes for both models.
