Smart's four-seat five-door hatchback — two separate generations (2004–2006 and 2014–2019), both discontinued after modest sales.

History
The first Forfour (W454, 2004–2006) was Smart's attempt to broaden beyond the two-seat niche with a five-door supermini sharing its platform with the Mitsubishi Colt and built at NedCar in the Netherlands. Sales fell from roughly 59,000 in its launch year 2004 to around 44,000 in 2005, and the model was cancelled in 2006 after fewer than two full model years.
A second Forfour returned for 2014 on the same Renault/Smart C platform as the third-generation Fortwo, co-developed with the Renault Twingo. This generation was built in Novo Mesto, Slovenia, at Revoz. An EQ Forfour (electric) variant was offered from 2017. European sales of the second Forfour ended in 2019 when Smart committed to an all-electric, China/Geely-based future.
