Rolls-Royce Cullinan History

Unveiled in 2018, the Cullinan was the first SUV — and the first all-wheel-drive car — in Rolls-Royce's history, a response to ultra-luxury rivals entering the segment. It uses the in-house "Architecture of Luxury" aluminium platform and a 6.75-litre twin-turbo V12, and is named after the 3,106-carat Cullinan diamond, the largest gem-quality rough diamond ever discovered.

Sitting between the Ghost and Phantom in price, it was an immediate commercial success and became one of the best-selling Rolls-Royces ever. A higher-output Black Badge version sits at the top of the range.
