History

The Roewe RX8 arrived in 2018 as the brand's largest crossover, a three-row mid-size SUV positioned above the five-seat RX5. It was aimed at families needing seven-seat capacity with Roewe's connected-car technology built in.

The RX8 used a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with an automatic gearbox. It was discontinued around 2023 as Roewe restructured its upper-SUV offerings.
