Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser History

The Vista Cruiser launched for 1964 as a stretched A-body intermediate station wagon, famous for its raised rear roof section fitted with skylight glass panels — the 'Vista' roof — that brightened the cargo area.

Built on a longer wheelbase than the standard Cutlass wagons, it was a popular family hauler across three generations (1964–1967, 1968–1972, and the 1973–1977 Colonnade cars) before the name was retired after 1977, replaced by the Cutlass Cruiser.
