History

The Bravada arrived for 1991 as Oldsmobile's first SUV — a more upscale, standard-all-wheel-drive version of the Chevrolet S-10 Blazer/GMC Jimmy, distinguished by smooth bodywork and a richer interior.

A later generation moved to GM's GMT360 platform as a premium relation of the Chevrolet TrailBlazer. The Bravada was sold through 2004 before ending alongside the brand. The nameplate ran in three generations with gaps between them — 1991–1994, 1996–2001, and 2002–2004 (no 1995 model year) — so the 1991–2004 span covers the nameplate's overall life, not a single continuous run.
