Noble M600 History
History
The M600 was Noble's flagship supercar, with sales beginning in 2010. It used a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 — the Yamaha-built Volvo B8444S unit — mounted amidships in a lightweight car with a carbon-fibre body, and deliberately omitted modern driver aids such as ABS in its quest for an analogue, driver-focused experience.
A dashboard switch let the driver select between Road, Track, and Race boost settings, giving roughly 450, 550, and 650 bhp respectively. With a kerb weight under 1,300 kg, the M600 offered hypercar-level performance with a manual gearbox and no electronic safety net, a back-to-basics philosophy that made it a critics' favourite.
An open-topped Speedster joined the coupe later in the run. The M600 was hand-built in extremely small numbers — only a few dozen cars in total — with production running until 2018.

Open-topped, targa-roofed version of the M600 — shown as a prototype at Autosport International in 2015 and in production form at the 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed; only around 30 Speedsters were built.
