Overview

The W222 (US sales from 2014) was a major technology statement, with Magic Body Control suspension that scanned the road ahead, an all-digital twin-screen cabin, and an expanded range that reintegrated the two-door as the S-Class Coupé (C217) and added the first-ever S-Class Cabriolet (A217). In 2015 the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class revived the Maybach name as an ultra-luxury sub-brand.
