Jeep Gladiator (JT) History
History
The modern Gladiator (JT) launched for 2020 as a mid-size pickup closely based on the JL Wrangler, sharing its front styling, removable doors and roof, and fold-down windshield, but adding a five-foot bed and a longer wheelbase.
It is the only open-air convertible pickup in the modern US market and is offered in capable off-road trims including the Rubicon and the desert-running Mojave. The Gladiator name revives Jeep's classic 1960s full-size pickup nameplate.
