Hongqi E-HS9 History

The E-HS9 entered production in 2021 as Hongqi's battery-electric flagship SUV — a large, seven-seat luxury crossover spanning 5,209 mm in length on a 3,110 mm wheelbase. The top AWD variant pairs two electric motors for a combined 544 hp and a 0–100 km/h time under five seconds; a 92.5 kWh battery provides up to 510 km of NEDC range.

Equipped with six interior smart screens, AR navigation, and a richly appointed cabin, the E-HS9 is Hongqi's most direct statement that Chinese luxury EVs can compete on specification with the best European full-size SUVs.
