History

The Accord arrived in the US in 1976 as a compact hatchback and grew into Honda's flagship mid-size car, a multiple-time best-seller and repeat Car of the Year winner.

In 1982 it became the first car from a Japanese manufacturer built in the US, at Marysville, Ohio. Over eleven generations it has offered sedans, coupes, wagons, a V6, and hybrids.
