Hispano-Suiza Carmen Sagrera History
History
Revealed in 2024 to mark Hispano-Suiza's 120th anniversary, the Carmen Sagrera is the third model in the revived marque's electric hypercar line. Named for the La Sagrera district of Barcelona — home to the company's original factory — the Sagrera steps up from the Carmen's rear-drive layout to a four-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain producing 1,114 hp (820 kW) and 1,150 Nm of torque, reaching 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds. A new in-house 103 kWh, 740-volt battery pack provides a claimed 480 km WLTP range.
Production is limited to 24 examples, all handbuilt at the company's Barcelona facility. Pricing starts at approximately €2.4 million plus taxes. The Sagrera made its dynamic debut at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed, positioning Hispano-Suiza alongside Bugatti, Koenigsegg, and Pagani in the ultra-low-volume hypercar tier.
