Foton Aumark History

Launched in 2006, the Foton Aumark covers gross weights from 3 to 14 tonnes and has become one of the most widely sold Chinese light-duty trucks globally, with cumulative sales exceeding 900,000 units across more than 150 countries. Engine options span a range of diesel powerplants including Cummins ISF units (2.8–3.8 L, 105–170 hp), Isuzu BJ493 engines, and Lovol diesels, matched to ZF gearboxes.

The Aumark's versatility — offered as flatbed, box, chassis-cab, refrigerated, and special-purpose builds — has made it a staple of last-mile delivery fleets in Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. An eAumark electric variant (available in 6-tonne configuration) represents Foton's push into zero-emission commercial transport. The Aumark S and Flex sub-lines introduced more aerodynamic cabs and improved driver amenities from the 2010s onward.
