    At each indicated oil service inspect tire wear/tread and wheels; rotate tires; inspect brakes/parking brake, coolant strength/hoses, exhaust/heat shields, half-shaft boots, rear axle and U-joints, steering/ball joints/suspension/tie rods/driveshaft/U-joints (lubricate grease fittings only).     V6/GT synthetic axle exception

    Factory synthetic rear-axle lubricant has no routine change unless a leak is suspected, service is required or the axle is submerged. Change after submersion; for high-speed, track or competition use replace axle lubricant and friction modifier after the first hour, then every 12 hours under those conditions. The synthetic-fluid exception controls ordinary road service.
