Overview

Ford renamed the entry model XL for 1994, continuing it beside XLT and Eddie Bauer. A driver-side air bag and four-wheel anti-lock braking were standard; the 5.0-liter EFI V8 remained the base engine, the 5.8-liter EFI V8 was optional, and Eddie Bauer standardized the E4OD automatic.
