Overview
The 1985 full-size Bronco range comprised the standard Bronco, XLT, and new Eddie Bauer series. A 4.9-liter inline-six with four-speed manual remained standard; Ford introduced a multi-port-EFI 5.0-liter V8 with manual or Automatic Overdrive and offered a high-output four-barrel 5.8-liter V8 with automatic. Eddie Bauer standardized the new 5.0-liter EFI engine.
